News about Aluminum - Air Batteries

 

Aluminium manufacturer HINDALCO, has signed a memorandum of understanding with  Israel based battery manufacturer Phinergy and IOC to develop Aluminium -Air Batteries for Electric Vehicles. In this MOM IOC is also a member. As per MOM above said 3 members are responsible for the development and piloting the production of Aluminium plates for Aluminium -Air Batteries for Electrical vehicles in India.

Hindalco is a subsidiary of the Aditya Birla Group. We are also aware that there is already a joint venture between IOC Indian Oil Corporation and Phinergy
