In this regards recently Central Consumer Protection Regulator CCPA on 26/07/2022 said that they had issued notices to four - five Electric vehicles manufacturers about battery explosion of Electrical Vehicles. Chief commissioner of CCPA Nidhi Khare told to reporters about above information.
Replaying to a question in Lok Sabha ,Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari
said that show cause letters are issued to all the EV two wheeler manufactures after their two wheelers caught fire due to Battery issues. He also told that based on their received responses further action would be taken.
